Zoning Ordinance Amendments 2024 - Public Haring December 20, 2023 Moved to 2024 Warrant as presented

 

The Planning Board will consider Zoning Ordinance Amendment Proposal 4:

Article 15 (Proposal 4): Add Solar Energy System Ordinance to accommodate solar energy systems and distributed generation resources in appropriate locations, while protecting the public’s health, safety, and welfare.

Zoning Ordinance Amendments 2024 - Public Haring December 6, 2023 - Moved to 2024 Warrant as presented

 

The Planning Board will discussed following proposed amendments to the Town of Fremont New Hampshire Zoning Ordinance:

Article 13: Change all references to “elderly” housing throughout Article 13, Section 1301 to “age-restricted” housing and to change all references to “elderly” citizens or residents to citizens or “residents aged 55 years and older”.

Article 13: Modify Article 13, Section 1301.2 (General Standards) to remove the explanatory note and revise the name of the state agency that provides housing estimates used to calculate the total number of dwelling units allowed in Fremont in subparagraph B; and to clarify how to calculate the number of bedrooms allowed if the development is located partially within the Aquifer Protection District.

Articles 4 and 7:  To add definitions in Article 4, Section 403 for Self-Storage Facility and Warehouse; and to amend the Table of Uses in Article 7, Section 708 to include the newly defined uses of Self-Storage Facility and Warehouse, and to indicate in which districts they are allowed, under what conditions they are allowed, and in which districts they are prohibited.

002-131  Preliminary Design Review for Elderly Open Space Development  off Susan's Way - Public Hearing May 3, 2023

Applicant, Curley Q, LLC is proposing to build 64, 2-bedroom units to be built as 16, 4-unit buildings on a 58.45-acre parcel. On site septic systems and a community water supply are proposed for this clustered subdivision which will allow 70% of the property to remain wooded open space. At this hearing, the Planning Board and Applicant will engage in nonbinding discussions regarding design, planning and engineering details that will allow the applicant to prepare final designs for a formal application.

  1.
