Friends of the Library
The Next Friends meeting will be on Tuesday, May 21,2024 at 3:30 pm in the library.
Who Are We? The Friends are all volunteers that advocate for the library. Tasks range from hosting book sales, bake sales or fundraising efforts to voicing support for the library or just spreading the word about the great services and value the library brings to our community. Our Friends apply for grants from the NH Humanities council in order to bring some programming to the library. Previous programs included “The Capital Crime of Witchcraft”, History of Baker’s Chocolate, a concert by The Timberlane Community Band and Matthew Thomas, our town Historian gave a presentation on "The History of Fremont". We fund our Museum & Attraction Reimbursement Program. If you just recently became a Friend, you are most welcome to join us! Email the Friends with questions, suggestions, comments or to join! We are always happy to have new Friends! Stop by the library to pick up a membership application or click the link below.
