Boat Registration
The Office of Town Clerk is a State appointed boat registration agent. Anyone may register a boat in NH if they are a resident or they will be using the boat in NH waters.
To register you will need a bill of sale, your boat renewal notice or your prior year's registration. The State of New Hampshire mails renewal boat registration forms each year. If it is a new boat; your bill of sale should include: new owners name, address and DOB. Also, the boat year, make, horse power, fuel type, boat length, color, hull material and hull ID number (usually 12 digits long). Also if the boat was previously registered in NH, the Bow numbers which will begin with NH are required.
