Women's Wellness

Exeter Hospital believes all women deserve access to important tests and screenings so they can continue to be well.  They also believe money should not be an obstacle to receiving high quality care.  Exeter Hospital created the Women’s Wellness Program to remove those financial obstacles. The Women’s Wellness Program provides mammograms, PAP tests, clinical breast and pelvic exams free of charge to women who meet the income and residential guidelines.

Early detection and screening is important. The American Cancer Society recommends that women begin having screening mammograms at age 40 and annually thereafter. Mammograms should occur at an earlier age if symptoms occur or a family history of breast cancer exists.
