Holiday Schedule
On days when the Turnkey Landfill is closed, our trash and recycling pickup is usually delayed by one day during the holiday week.
Holiday information for 2024:
- New Years (week of Jan 1)
- Memorial Day (week of May 27) - (Thu on Fri and Fri on Sat)
- Independence Day (week of July 1) - (Thur on Fri and Fri on Sat)
- Labor Day (week of Sep 2) - (Thu on Fri and Fri on Sat)
- Thanksgiving (week of Nov 25) - (Thu on Fri and Fri on Sat)
- Christmas (week of Dec 23) - (Thu on Fri and Fri on Sat)
In general, Waste Management's Holiday Schedule for Trash and Recycling observes the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
On these holiday weeks, regular pickup can vary due the the DAY on which the HOLIDAY falls, but it is usually one day delayed. Please check the home page for the most up to date information on holiday or weather changes. That is where we post delays.
